Montana von Fliss

Communication Coach & CEO

Montana von Fliss has coached countless speakers all over the world for both in-person and virtual events. For the past 17 years she's been coaching regularly for 60+ companies, including Microsoft, Amazon, and Google, on a broad range of communication issues, including content strategy, storytelling, mindset, and of course, excellent delivery. Montana is also a professional keynote speaker, facilitator, and event MC. Her 2025 TEDx Talk, How to Be Confident (Even If You're Not) has garnered over 2.5 million views and inspired people around the world. Her 30+ years as a professional actor, director, and keynote speaker gives her unique insight into how to disrupt the tradition of boring presentations in order to help people own the stage with confidence and give the best presentation of their career.

John Osebold

Communication Coach & COO

John received his BA from the University of Washington and has worked extensively as a theater director, performer, writer, storyteller, and public speaker. As a communication coach, John has trained speakers at Amazon, Microsoft, and GitHub, and has written and edited content for Microsoft and Woot.com. John has a passion for storytelling and he loves to help people stand up and tell an impactful story in front of any audience. He also serves as video editor, animator, and Chief Operations Officer for Montana & Co.

Marianna de Fazio

Communication Coach

Marianna received her MFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Washington, after which she began coaching dialect for stage and screen. This focus on voice and speech led to coaching accent modification in addition to presentation prep. Clients past and present include individuals and workshops at the Archdiocese of Seattle, Shell Corporate, Applied Materials,  Humanities Washington Speaker Bureau, University of Washington Law Library, Prettybooks Accounting, and WeWork Corporate, to name a few. She has coached presenters at several tech conferences (AWS Re:Invent, Tableau Conference, Microsoft STRIKE and Tech Ready) and was recently an adjunct professor at Seattle Pacific University teaching Voice for Theatre.

Kate Kraay

Communication Coach

Kate received her Masters Degree in Theater from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and has been a professional actor on stage and screen for most of her life. As a communication coach, Kate has trained speakers at companies like Microsoft, Amazon, and Raymond James Financial to help their employees prepare for conferences, deliver pitches, and improve their workplace culture and Emotional Intelligence. Kate loves to help people to speak confidently and concisely, presenting in a manner which is clear, well-organized and persuasive.

Dakota von Fliss

CCO

Dakota has a long tenure in creating customer connection and a passion for making people's day a little brighter by helping them overcome obstacles, technological and beyond. At Montana & Co., Dakota manages client relations and works behind the scenes in social media management, marketing, and systems analysis.
